It’s official, September is here!  I don’t know if you are as excited as I am; but the Fall is my favorite season.  It’s also a great month for traveling because everyone is back to school.  We enjoyed a top notch summer here at the Jersey Shore; with thousands of tourists, festivals, and long lasting beach days.  Many people, including myself, are not aware of how many wonderful wineries there are in the Garden State!  A friend of mine wants to celebrate her birthday at a winery this fall and I was a little nervous about taking a long weekend trip out to Napa Valley!  She was the one who informed me of the wineries that are practically in our backyards.  Laurita Winery, which is where we may go in New Egypt has quite the reputation.  They have a beautiful Inn on site so you can become a true wine connoisseur and not have to drive anywhere after.  Their Healing Spirits Spa and Laurita Equestrian Center are available to guests if you’re looking for some relaxation or adventure.  You definitely won’t feel like you are in New Jersey!  Visiting a winery is the perfect girls getaway, couples retreat, or if you have older of-age “children” a fun family experience.  There are so many choices and I encourage you all to take advantage of the beautiful fall scenery and experiences each have to offer. For a full list of New Jersey wineries, visit The Garden State Wine Growers Associations website.
