New York’s most popular cruise lines have almost always been geared toward an adult crowd and going south for a kid-friendly cruise can get pricey; however, this summer the Disney Cruise Line is setting sail from the Manhattan Cruise Terminal on trips to Canada and the Bahamas.

The eight-day cruise to the Bahamas features a day at Disney’s Castaway Cay Island and stop at Port Canaveral to allow for a visit at the Walt Disney World Resort. Included is a one-day Walt Disney World Park Hopper ticket and back-and-forth transportation to the park.

The other option is a five-day trip up the New England coastline into Canada that makes stops in family friendly and historic towns like Nova Scotia, Halifax, and St. John, New Brunswick.
